When cancer is diagnosed and surgery, anticancer drug treatment, or radiation therapy is started, various side effects and complications may occur during treatment.Difficulty producing saliva, dry mouth, aggravation of periodontal disease, periodontal disease bacteria, which are usually kept quiet, causing fever, stomatitis, painful mouth, etc. There are various troubles in the .When this happens, it becomes difficult to continue anticancer drug treatment, the length of hospitalization is prolonged, the nutritional status deteriorates, the quality of life declines, and there are many cases in which treatment is interrupted.
It is known that such troubles can be prevented or alleviated by having the inside of the mouth checked and taking necessary measures before starting full-scale cancer treatment.

We opened a dental and oral surgery department in 2021, but our main role is to support the treatment of patients who are hospitalized for cancer or surgery, and we do not provide general outpatient care.
