Regional medical support hospitals are required by the Medical Care Act to meet the following requirements.

In principle, the number of beds must be 200 or more.
Providing medical care centered on referral patients.
⇒In the case of our hospital, the referral rate from other medical institutions is 50% or more, and the reverse referral rate to other medical institutions is 70% or more.
Providing medical equipment and beds to other medical institutions for joint use. ⇒We accept orders for examinations such as MRI and CT from other medical institutions.In some cases, our doctors and general practitioners jointly examine inpatients who have been referred to us.
Providing education and training opportunities for local healthcare professionals. ⇒On the theme of each field, workshops and lectures are held monthly for medical professionals inside and outside the hospital.
Be competent to provide emergency medical care. ⇒We have a critical care center that provides emergency medical care 24 hours a day.
