Efforts of Respiratory Medicine
Our department focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of acute respiratory diseases such as pneumonia, bronchial asthma, acute exacerbation of chronic lung disease, and lung cancer.
Many cases of acute respiratory disease rapidly lead to respiratory failure, and early diagnosis and treatment are important.
Therefore, we are doing our best to respond as quickly as possible. If your condition stabilizes, we will ask doctors at the clinic or hospital you referred to for further treatment.
With regard to lung cancer, we first detect lung cancer at an early stage through a lung cancer checkup, and then make a prompt and definitive diagnosis with the cooperation of each department. As a treatment, for inoperable cases, radiation and anticancer agents are used simultaneously. We are actively promoting multidisciplinary treatment with anticancer drugs and treatment with new anticancer drugs.
Focusing on these points, I would like to continue to practice medical care with the aim of early diagnosis and treatment.
A word to patients
Smoking causes many respiratory diseases.
Please refrain from smoking as it may affect the people around you.
