About in-hospital cancer registration
Our hospital has been designated as a regional cancer treatment collaboration hub hospital, and we conduct in-hospital cancer registration and submit registration data to the National Cancer Center.
In-hospital cancer registration is a system for registering information about cancer treatment at one's own institution (site of cancer, degree of progression, details of diagnosis and treatment, etc.) using a prescribed method.The registered information is used to improve the quality of cancer medical care, support patients, and enhance cancer control measures.

In-hospital cancer registration collects medical treatment information in accordance with the "Act on Promotion of Cancer Registration, etc."An opportunity is provided to refuse (opt-out) the information from being used for secondary purposes in research or policy.
Opting out means refraining from using information obtained through medical treatment for research purposes at the request of the patient.We will notify you in advance that your personal data will be provided to a third party, and if you do not object to this (opt-out), we will assume your consent, but if you request to opt-out, we will not use your data for secondary purposes.
