Outpatient chemotherapy guidance

Among patients using anticancer drugs, we check side effects and provide guidance in cooperation with doctors and nurses for patients who particularly need follow-up.

Dispensing business

We dispense oral and topical medicines according to the patient's prescription.We check whether the usage of the medicines prescribed by the doctor is appropriate, whether there are any problems with mixing medicines, and whether there are duplicate medicines.For outpatients, outpatient prescriptions are required.
At our hospital, we use a tablet packaging machine to dispense oral medicines into single packages according to usage, and we are devising ways to reduce the risk of patients taking their medicines by mistake.

Injection business

Ward work

Our hospital has ward pharmacists in all wards, and in cooperation with other professions such as doctors and nurses, we are providing drug guidance to patients.At the time of hospitalization, we check the patient's medical history, medications brought in, side effects, allergy history, etc.During hospitalization, we check whether the patient is taking the medicine as instructed and whether there are any side effects.

Participation in team medical care

A pharmacist participates in each team such as the pressure ulcer countermeasure team, palliative care team, diabetes care team, nutrition support team, eating/swallowing team, infection control team, dementia care team, and medical safety management team, and collaborates with other occupations.
