Mission of our department

Our mission is to provide local residents with painstaking rehabilitation services based on knowledge and skills.
To this end, we will develop human resources and establish a system to provide highly specialized rehabilitation services based on the three fields of comprehensive emergency medicine, cancer treatment, and home-visit rehabilitation.In addition, we will continue a system that can provide continuous rehabilitation services from the acute stage to home care with regional cooperation.

Contents of each therapy

1) physical therapy

The target diseases are neurosurgical diseases such as stroke and brain trauma, orthopedic diseases such as fractures, ligament and tendon injuries and arthrosis, cardiovascular diseases such as myocardial infarction and heart failure, and respiratory diseases such as respiratory failure and asthma. I have a disease.In addition, we are actively working on disuse syndrome caused by temporary rest in cancer patients from the perioperative period to the palliative period and pneumonia.
Physical therapy aims to improve joint stiffness, loss of muscle strength/stamina, pain, etc., and exercise therapy (strength training, aerobic exercise, getting up, standing, walking, etc.) to prevent difficulties in daily life and work. We provide treatment, practice, and guidance centered on basic exercise for the elderly.
We are also working to prevent postoperative complications and disuse syndrome in the perioperative period (before and after surgery).In order to reduce the disadvantages of living in society, we provide advice on welfare equipment and home renovation (survey).

2) occupational therapy

The target diseases are neurosurgical diseases such as stroke and brain trauma, orthopedic diseases such as bone fractures, ligament and tendon injuries (especially hand and finger injuries), respiratory diseases, cardiovascular diseases, and perioperative relief. There are cancer patients up to stage and disuse syndrome caused by temporary bed rest.
Occupational therapy provides practice and instruction aimed at improving the quality of life in general through occupational activities.Occupational activities include activities related to daily life (dressing, eating, going to the toilet, etc.), work and play, and other activities related to human life in general.
In addition, as well as physical therapy, we provide advice on welfare equipment and home renovation (survey).

3) Speech-language therapy

We provide practice and guidance based on evaluation and future prospects for those who have communication problems such as language.The characteristics of our hospital include higher brain dysfunction and respiratory diseases caused by stroke and brain trauma, cancer patients from the perioperative period to the palliative period, and disuse syndrome that occurs after temporary bed rest and surgery. We are actively working on disability.
In particular, for communication disorders, in addition to individual practice, we practice in groups to improve activity and disease recognition.In addition, for higher brain dysfunction, we encourage awareness of the pathology, practice compensatory measures (such as the habit of taking notes), and provide guidance and interviews with people involved assuming life after discharge.
In addition, for people with eating and swallowing disorders caused by various factors, we provide professional support through evaluation and practice with doctors, nurses, pharmacists, registered dietitians, and others.

4) Home care department

For the elderly and those with physical disabilities who are living at home, physical and occupational therapists visit their homes directly under the direction of a doctor to help them with their daily lives and homes. We offer rehabilitative services tailored to your environment.We specialize in understanding problems in daily life, and support you so that you can live comfortably at home while consulting with you and your family.
