Regarding discharge prescriptions for patients who are receiving oral medications through the "simple suspension method"

To all medical professionals
Regarding discharge prescriptions for patients who are receiving oral medications through the "simple suspension method"
At our hospital, we have introduced a "simple suspension method" for patients who receive oral administration.
Up until now, our pharmacists have checked the implementation status of the "simple suspension method" at each medical institution or facility, and then selected whether to use the "simple suspension method" or a pulverized preparation. Ta.However, since the majority of facilities have introduced the "simple suspension method," we have closed the preliminary interview and decided to use the "simple suspension method" in our hospital's discharge prescription. I will prepare the medicine for you.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we ask that medical institutions and facilities that have not yet adopted this drug change their dispensing method to one that is supported by each facility.
For patients who have been introduced to the "Simple Suspension Method," we provide them with a discharge prescription along with a form with instructions on how to adjust it.
For patients who are discharged home, we obtain prior consent from their families to continue treatment.
If you are unsure about how to prepare or administer the drug, please contact the Department of Pharmacy.
For patients transferred to medical institutions and facilities, our hospital will no longer accept individual inquiries from November 2023.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
