This time, Vice Director Hidetaka Nishina (Department of Cardiovascular Medicine) gave a lecture to 44 people in the area under the theme of "Familiar valvular heart disease and the latest treatment."The main symptoms of "aortic valve stenosis," which will get worse without treatment, and videos of "transcatheter aortic valve placement (TAVI)," which is a less invasive treatment for patients. He explained in detail the “practice of treatment” while showing such things.
Vice Director Nishina said, ``It is important for family members to be aware of aortic stenosis through their daily lives. Let's do it," he said, conveying the importance of early detection.
