Using the Online Clinical Education Evaluation System (EPOC 2)

To all who visit our hospital

Our hospital is a basic clinical training hospital that trains early-stage trainees.

Based on the separately established clinical training philosophy, we are working to develop doctors who can treat a wide range of diseases and conditions, regardless of their field of specialization in the future.Resident doctors are responsible for medical care in hospital wards and outpatient clinics under the supervision of a supervising doctor. We provide medical care under the guidance and supervision of Dr.
During doctor training, the medical information of patients treated by trainee doctors is sent to the University Hospital Medical Information Network Center (UMIN Center) within the University of Tokyo, with personal information removed.
The Online Clinical Education Evaluation System 2 (EPOC2) is used to transfer and manage this medical information. EPOC2 is an online system that complies with clinical training system guidance guidelines developed by the National University Hospital Director's Conference under the support of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.

It is used by many clinical training institutions nationwide, and is used by initial trainees, preceptors, nurses, and other medical professionals to evaluate trainees, and is protected by a high level of security.
The medical information collected by this EPOC2 will be used for clinical education, including the formulation and improvement of clinical training programs and the formulation and improvement of physician clinical training instruction guidelines.Furthermore, it is expected that the accumulated medical information will be used secondarily for research related to training and education of doctors.

If you have any questions regarding the collection of medical information from all patients, its use for training and education of doctors, and its secondary use in research in the future, please see below. Please let the person in charge of this study know.
