Transportation from hospitals around the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant to Ibaraki Prefecture
Ibaraki Prefecture, together with Fukushima Prefecture, Miyagi Prefecture, and Iwate Prefecture, requested the dispatch of DMATs from all over the country to provide acute-phase disaster medical care following the earthquake. .We dispatched the DMAT team that had gathered at our hospital to facilities where it was difficult to maintain functions as a hospital, transferred inpatients to other hospitals by the next day, and headed for relief activities to the disaster area in Ibaraki Prefecture.In addition, the DMAT2 team of our hospital also carried out transfer activities to the affected hospitals in Kitaibaraki City.

In order to continue disaster medical activities in Ibaraki Prefecture with Ibaraki DMAT playing a central role, our DMAT participated in the activities of the DMAT Coordination Headquarters at the Ibaraki Prefectural Office.As a result of a survey of medical demand at evacuation centers and the situation of affected hospitals, it was found that some hospitals in Kitaibaraki City were having difficulty maintaining their functions. have become.

When the DMAT was dispatched to multiple hospitals within 20-30km from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant that had difficulty maintaining their functions, the DMAT members reported on the situation in northern Fukushima Prefecture, and the Ibaraki Prefecture DAMT Coordination Headquarters was re-established. As a result, the DMAT of our hospital participated in the activities of the coordination headquarters.In cooperation with the Fukushima Prefectural DMAT Coordination Headquarters, we carried out transfer coordination and hospital transfer activities for inpatients at affected hospitals.
