Ambulance/hotline demand rate
Metric definition
This shows the percentage of requests received by our hospital for ambulance transport from fire departments inside and outside the prefecture.
Features of our hospital
Our hospital is a tertiary emergency medical institution with a 30-bed critical care center, and will accept 2022 emergency transports in 5,056. Of these, 28.8% were critically ill patients and 54.9% were transported during the night, covering areas where secondary emergency medical institutions in the vicinity are under increasing demand. Although the number of patients accepted increased by utilizing negative pressure primary care rooms that can cope with the coronavirus, the response rate decreased due to an increase in the number of requests for transportation.
* "Median" is the value in the middle when numerical data is sorted in order of magnitude.
