For those using the Joban Expressway
- Get off at Sakura Tsuchiura IC and turn left toward Tsukuba
- Turn right at the Daikakumame (Sasagi) intersection.
- Go straight north on Prefectural Route 55 (Higashi Odori)
- Turn left at Tsumaki intersection
- Turn right at the first traffic light (Matsumi Park)
- Turn left at the second traffic light (Azuma Junior High School)

When using the train / bus
Tsukuba Express
By bus
From Tsukuba Center Bus Terminal (6), take a bus bound for Tsukuba Daigaku Circular Clockwise, Counterclockwise, or Tsukuba Daigaku Chuo, get off at Tsukuba Medical Center-mae, and walk about 4 minutes.
On foot
About 2 minutes on foot from Tsukuba Express Tsukuba Station [A20] Exit
JR Joban Line
From the West Exit Terminal of Tsuchiura Station on the JR Joban Line, take a bus bound for "Tsukuba Daigaku Chuo" (approximately 45 minutes)
Get off at "Tsukuba Medical Center Mae" and walk for about 4 minutes.
Express Bus
From Tokyo Station Yaesu South Exit Bus Terminal, take a bus bound for Tsukuba University (approximately 1 hour 15 minutes)
Get off at "Tsukuba University Hospital" and walk for about 5 minutes.
