The official mascot of Tsukuba Medical Center (Public Interest Foundation) is born!

Nice to meet you! I'm Dr. Gama.

We have created an official character (a new member) who will help promote our organization's efforts!
His name is Dr. Gama.

Why...Gama (frog)?

We asked the staff who designed the characters!
"I had seen the "Toad Oil Seller's Speech," a traditional art form handed down in Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture, and the famous Mount Tsukuba specialty, and I thought that the slogan, "Toad oil heals wounds instantly," was a perfect fit for the image of the hospital, and so "Dr. Toad" was born."
