Our hospital holds consultation sessions for cancer patients and their families, where they can talk with people who have experienced cancer (peer supporters).
Are you worried about having cancer, but can't talk about it with the people around you? This is a place where cancer patients and their families can talk about their various anxieties and worries, listen to each other, and exchange information. By sharing the "pain," "suffering," and sometimes "joy" that only those who have had the same experience can understand, our goal is to help people to stay positive about their illness.
