Fire drill conducted at Nanohana Satellite!

Report that everyone was able to evacuate safely
Checking procedures with a training water extinguisher

A drill was conducted simulating a fire breaking out in a microwave oven!

On Friday, July 2025, 7, a fire drill was conducted at the Nanohana Visiting Nursing Satellite Center.
Confirmed that the microwave had caught fire → Instructed staff to evacuate → Extinguished the source of the fire → Confirmed that everyone was safe outside.
Afterwards, they used a training water extinguisher to spray water at a target that resembled a flaming object, learning the basic operation of a fire extinguisher.
At the post-training review meeting, the participants identified any deficiencies or confusion in staff movements and coordination, and shared what went smoothly and what problems there were, such as evacuation routes, initial firefighting, and reporting.
Through the training, we simulate fire response and learn specific actions to take, which allows staff to remain calm in emergencies. Improving calm judgment and quick response capabilities and protecting staff themselves will lead to the continuation of visiting nursing care for users.
You never know when or where a fire will break out. I want to continue to train regularly so that I can be aware of how I should act on a daily basis and respond calmly in an emergency.
